On the morning of Tuesday, 25 February 2025, Mr. Suon Sang, Chief Executive Officer of Golden Fortune Derivatives Exchange Co., Ltd., graciously welcomed a distinguished group of international students from Malaysia and Timor-Leste, who were visiting Cambodia through a collaborative academic program facilitated by the University of Cambodia. The delegation was led by Ms. Gina Lopez, Vice President of the University of Cambodia.
The study tour was part of an international educational initiative designed to provide students with a practical and in-depth understanding of Cambodia’s growing financial sector, particularly in the field of derivatives trading. During the visit, Golden Fortune had the opportunity to introduce the students to the core functions of a derivatives exchange, the regulatory framework governing the industry, and the types of financial instruments available for trading within the company’s platform.
Through a combination of guided presentations, live demonstrations, and direct interaction with key members of the Golden Fortune team, the students gained valuable insights into how derivative products operate in a real-world market environment. The visit highlighted the company’s role in promoting transparency, innovation, and investor education in the Cambodian capital market.
The session concluded with a lively Q&A session, where the students expressed their curiosity and enthusiasm for the derivatives industry. Golden Fortune’s staff shared their experiences and encouraged students to continue exploring financial markets as part of their academic and professional development.
The entire visit took place in a smooth, engaging, and friendly atmosphere, fostering meaningful cross-cultural exchange and professional inspiration. Golden Fortune was honored to serve as a bridge between Cambodia’s financial sector and the international academic community.
As part of its commitment to financial literacy and international cooperation, Golden Fortune Derivatives Exchange Co., Ltd. looks forward to hosting more educational visits, student delegations, and collaborative projects in the future.
